Mike was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the oldest of six children (four sisters and one brother). Mike has A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College of Missouri. Thirty five years ago, Mike married the former Connie S Swofford. Connie is from Altamonte Springs, Florida. Connie has a Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Secondary English from the University of Central Florida. She also has a Certification in the area of Emotionally Handicapped from the University of South Florida and is endorsed in reading by the State of Florida. Connie has taught for thirty-five years and an administrator for two years. Mike and Connie have two grown children, Julie, a real estate closer in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Marc is a real estate investor in Norfolk, Virginia as well as professional speaker for real estate investing and a published author (Kangaroo Millionaire) www.marchrisko.com. Julie is married to an ASE Certified Master Mechanic (Buddy) they have a seventeen year old son. Marc is married to a fantastic Australian (Kym) and they have a two year old son and a four year old son. Mike served in the Navy for thirty years, assisting people in development and succeeding in their career paths. After leaving the Navy, Mike spent six years as a Human Resource Manager and three years as a Human Resource Director. While in Human Resources, he studied real estate investing, coaching and mentoring under a number of experts in these fields. He is presently a real estate investor in Virginia, Florida and Georgia and works with his son Marc. Mike also has his mortgage broker's license. He matches lenders with real estate investors, assembled a team of real estate attorneys, title companies, appraisers, contractors, realtors, home inspectors and other power team members to assist investors as well.
